Lore
Speed 3 on a battlecruiser hull. Every other empire's naval architects
looked at the power-to-mass ratio and said it couldn't be done safely.
Rim engineers said "safely" was doing a lot of heavy lifting in that
sentence. The Free Radical trades raw durability for the ability to
choose every engagement — arrive before the enemy can prepare, hit hard,
and be gone before reinforcements finish jumping. Five weapon mounts
deliver firepower that rivals ships twice its tonnage. The retreat
option isn't cowardice. It's the reason the Free Radical keeps showing
up to the next fight.
