Lore
The Armageddon exists because some problems don't yield to conventional force. Nine weapon mounts optimized for long-range bombardment deliver ordnance from distances that put the ship beyond effective return fire. The power grid — the largest ever installed in a Crimson vessel — sustains continuous bombardment capable of reducing stations to wreckage and planetary defenses to memories. The Armageddon sacrifices hull and shield for raw firepower: it's not built to take hits, it's built to ensure the enemy never gets the chance to deliver them. The Crimson Fleet has built three Armageddons in its history. That was enough. The word "armageddon" is now a verb in Crimson Fleet tactical lexicon.
