calling it a salvage ship undersells it considerably. Four weapon mounts
ensure the wreck field stays clear of competitors while industrial cutting
arrays reduce capital-class hulls to raw materials with mechanical
indifference. The Guillotine follows Crimson battle groups at a respectful
distance, waiting for the engagement to conclude before moving in. Cargo
capacity runs lower than competing salvagers — the Fleet accepted that
trade for a ship that never needs to ask permission to operate in a
contested wreck field.
