Lore
Rim drone engineering follows a simple principle: quantity has a quality
all its own. The Swarm Boss carries a complement of drones assembled from
whatever was cheap, available, and approximately the right shape. No two
drones are identical, their firmware is a patchwork of three different
operating systems, and their coordination protocols are best described as
"enthusiastic." What they lack in precision they make up for in numbers
and the sheer bewilderment they cause.
