The solution: make the hold so large that each trip is worth three of anyone else's. Dual extraction systems feed directly into oversized compression bays, and the reinforced containment prevents sublimation losses during the long hauls back to market. The hull won't survive a serious fight — the Federation considers armed escorts a line item, not a design constraint. Quarterly performance reviews rank Frost Dividend crews by tonnes-per-hour, and the top operators are transferred to larger vessels. The ones who aren't are reminded that the ship is replaceable.
