Lore
The Outer Rim builds the Get Off My Lawn to tell people to leave. Pirates use it to go places they're not supposed to be and be gone before anyone responds. The territorial firmware that triggered on unauthorized entry to Rim space has been stripped out. The autocannons have not been touched. What remains is an engine with a cockpit bolted to it and enough speed to reach a target, confirm the cargo manifest, and be three systems away before the raider squad even gets the message.
