The Caravan carries the largest effective hold of any T2 commercial hull — dual cargo expanders stretch an already generous bay into something that justifies the fuel spent crossing three systems. The single weapon mount is described in marketing materials as "a deterrent" and in engineering documents as "an afterthought." Caravan captains accept this. The margins are in volume, not violence, and the margins are very good.
