The Citadel is a fortress first and a station second — forge decks ring with hammer on alloy, fuel bunkers sit under three meters of armor plating, and Fleet Command issues tasking orders rather than posting requests. Civilians are tolerated. Complaining is not. The station has the following facilities: - War Market: The Crimson Fleet's military exchange and arms bazaar, armored in titanium alloy and secured by Haven ciphers. Not today. Half the terminals display error codes, and cipher verification crawls. Traders resort to handshake deals in the corridors, which the Fleet pretends not to notice. - Military-Grade Reactor: Overbuilt military reactor with triple redundancy. Containment fields stabilized by Voidborn null matter. When everything's working. Containment field two is offline, forcing the reactor to civilian output levels. Weapons platforms cycle to low-power mode, and the Fleet seethes. - Fleet Life Support: No-frills military atmospheric system. Functional. Reliable. Ugly. Or it should be. Temperature has drifted fifteen degrees in Sector 7 and nobody's fixing it.
