Lore
No two Cobbles are alike because no two Cobbles are made from the same
parts. Assembled from whatever was available — Solarian hull panels here,
Crimson thruster housing there, something Voidborn that nobody can identify
bolted to the port nacelle. The engine has been hand-tuned by whoever built
this particular Cobble, and it is improbably, irresponsibly fast. The hull
integrity is... present. The warranty expired before the ship was finished.
The paint doesn't match. The instrument panel is labeled in three different
languages. It is the most honest ship in the galaxy: exactly what it is,
nothing pretending to be more. Rim pilots love them with an affection that
baffles every other empire.
