Lore
The Warmaul is where the Crimson Fleet stops pretending and starts deploying. Five weapon mounts deliver sustained broadside firepower that exceeds anything else at this scale. The armor is thick enough to wade through fighter screens without flinching. The power grid runs all five weapons without compromise. Multi-role is for ships that aren't sure what they're for. The Warmaul is a gun platform that happens to have engines. Fleet commanders consider it the minimum acceptable response to any tactical situation. Everything lighter is "reconnaissance in force."
