Lore
The Scrutiny-class carries scanning equipment that would be classified
as surveillance hardware in any other context. The Confederacy classifies
it as "routine inspection capability" and declines to elaborate on the
distinction. Three utility slots accommodate the full sensor suite:
spectral analysis, cargo density mapping, and a signature library that
is updated daily from Confederacy central records. One weapon mount is
included for "procedural compliance enforcement." The official customs
hail is seventeen words long and includes a citation number.
