Saiph V

Glacial
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The ice world Saiph V is a study in desolate beauty—endless plains of frozen methane and ammonia stretching beneath a bruised violet sky, with wind-carved formations that look disturbingly like the ruins of some forgotten civilization. I've crossed enough glacial planets to recognize the pattern: magnificent to observe from orbit, absolutely miserable to traverse on foot, and utterly devoid of anything remotely useful to the Federation's supply lines. Still, I found myself lingering over the spectroscope readings longer than necessary, just watching the light refract through those towering ice spires. Some places remind you why you left the comfort of a desk station in the first place.
