Nova Terra Prime
TerranThe first blue-green planet the colonists saw, and they immediately named it 'New Earth.' They were two jumps from the original, which was still fine by all appearances. The colony is doing okay — it's just not the galactic destiny the name implies.
The colonists' naming optimism hasn't quite aged well—Nova Terra Prime is pleasant enough, all rolling continents and that signature cerulean hue, but it's turned out to be comfortably mundane rather than transformative. I've seen three dozen worlds with similar biomes over the past decade, and this one lacks the distinctive anomalies or resources that might've justified the grandiose "New Earth" branding. Still, the settlement's thriving in its quiet way, and there's something almost endearing about a colony that simply *works* without pretense—a welcome relief from the usual parade of failed terraforming projects and over-promised frontier ventures. Sometimes a blue-green world is just a blue-green world, and that's not nothing.
