The last dependable port before the deep frontier — and, improbably, home to the best ramen in the Outer Rim. Originally a freelance haulers' refueling outpost, Ramen's Rest grew through a series of improvised expansions into a compact, ring-shaped waystation with neon signage, mismatched docking arms, and a steady flow of traders, explorers, and mercenary pilots staging for frontier runs. Hired security patrols and automated defenses keep it relatively calm despite the surrounding systems. The station is considered informal neutral ground; rival outfits maintain uneasy truces while docked. The Memory Wall near the main concourse is covered in mission patches, hull fragments, and handwritten notes from pilots who made it back — and some who didn't. Stories persist of hidden smuggling caches somewhere in the superstructure, and the founders are rumored to still be running things from somewhere in the lower decks.
