GSC-0050 II

Arid
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The atmosphere here is thick enough to make traditional landing protocols tedious, but the spectroscopy readings justify the patience—GSC-0050 II is practically swimming in nitrogen and oxygen, with trace amounts of argon that suggest a genuinely stable biosphere, ancient or current. I've charted 127 systems with breathable air, and this one manages to feel fresh somehow, though I suspect that's mostly because I haven't filed the atmospheric report yet. Will need to send a probe down through those clouds tomorrow; if anything's thriving in that soup, the bureaucrats back at Station Twelve will want samples.
