Deepwell II

Arid
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
Deepwell II lives up to its name—a rust-colored wasteland of cracked basins and subsurface caverns that would bore most surveyors senseless, except the geological record down there tells a story of catastrophic tectonic upheaval that makes my hands itch to return with proper drilling equipment. The mineral veins exposed in the canyon walls suggest significant deposits of iron oxide and silicates, nothing that'll set the trade routes on fire, but enough to warrant a follow-up expedition once I've cleared my calendar of the usual tedious station audits. I've mapped seventeen distinct fissure systems, each one deeper than the last—someday, when I'm tired of staring at endless void, I'd like to understand what's really churning in Deepwell II's guts.
