Touched down on Yarrowfield II today—another rust-colored ball of rock and regret, the sort of place that makes you wonder why the settlers bothered. The dust storms are biblical, sure, and the geological formations have a certain austere beauty, but I've catalogued seventeen planets with identical atmospheric signatures in the last two years alone. Still, the silence out here has a way of settling into your bones; even a captain gets tired of filing reports on unremarkable worlds.
