Thuban II

Arid
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The landing site confirmed what the orbital surveys suggested—Thuban II is little more than rust-colored regolith stretching to a horizon baked by a K-class star, and I've seen a dozen planets just like it. Still, there's something oddly meditative about a world this stripped down; no atmosphere to speak of, no water, no pretense. Made me think of Kepler-442b, where I spent three weeks mapping crystalline formations, except here the silence feels even more complete.
