Rampart III

Tundra
Supply cache. Emergency provisions and ammunition stored in deep bunkers for a siege that hasn't come yet.
Rampart III lives up to its system's name—a frozen sentinel wrapped in perpetual ice storms that would make even veteran pilots recalibrate their nerve. The tundra sprawls endlessly beneath clouds of crystalline methane, punctuated by massive mineral ridges that catch what little starlight reaches this far from their sun, and I found myself actually grateful for the scanner data rather than risking a surface survey. Haven't seen a world this brutally inhospitable since the Kessler runs fifteen years back, though I'll admit there's something almost meditative about its bleakness—a reminder that not every system needs to be hospitable to be worth documenting. We're cataloging from orbit and moving on; some planets earn their solitude.
