Thabit II

Arid
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The rust-colored plains of Thabit II stretch endlessly beneath a butterscotch sky—beautiful in their desolation, though I've seen enough arid worlds to know they're all variations on the same theme of what-could-have-been. Still, there's something almost meditative about a planet this thoroughly drained, no water, no flourish, just patient silence. I collected some mineral samples from the escarpment before leaving; nothing revelatory, but enough to satisfy the taxonomists back on Kepler Station who seem to think every lifeless rock deserves cataloging. Another world filed away, another system crossed off the roster.
