Segin IV

Tundra
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The obsidian cliffs of Segin IV catch the primary star's light like shattered mirrors, casting fractured rainbows across what appears to be a dormant volcanic landscape—or so I thought until the seismic readings suggested otherwise. The planet's crust is restless, honeycombed with what the preliminary scans indicate are vast reservoirs of liquid sulfur and deposits of crystallized halite, a combination that shouldn't theoretically produce such violent tectonic activity. I've charted seventeen similar worlds across the Outer Rim, but none with quite this temperament; I'm tempted to call for a longer survey, though I suspect the bureaucrats back at Station Theta would rather I move along. Still, there's something almost alive about this place—something that demands a second visit when the paperwork isn't looming.
