Schedar IV
JovianNo survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The atmospheric readings on Schedar IV are almost brutally routine—nitrogen, oxygen, the usual suspects in their expected proportions—but what caught my attention was the mineral composition of the exposed crust: rich veins of copper and iron oxide running through the canyon systems like an old circuit board. I've seen a hundred terrestrial worlds, and they blur together after a while, yet something about the way the rust-colored formations caught the local star's light reminded me of the copper mines on Kepler-452b, back when I still believed I could catalog everything. Still, another garden-variety terrestrial with extractable metals and no sign of anything that would make the trip worth more than a survey note to the commodities board.
