Ridgecrest I

Scorched
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The Ridgecrest system's primary world lives up to its name—a tectonically restless ball of rust-colored stone with ridges that put the Spine of Kepler to shame, though mercifully without the seismic activity that made that expedition such a headache. Spectroscopic analysis suggests iron oxide dominates the crust, with substantial deposits of silicates threading through the highlands; nothing that hasn't been catalogued a hundred times over, yet there's something almost noble about the sheer scale of it all. I've marked three potential landing sites for the survey crew, though I suspect we'll spend more time filing reports than actually discovering anything new here.
