The atmospheric readings on Revati II are peculiar—thick clouds of methane and ammonia that refract the system's primary star into something almost violet, which would be breathtaking if the underlying geology weren't so uniformly dull. I've seen a hundred terrestrial planets with silicate bedrock and negligible mineral diversity, and this one joins that unremarkable club with little fanfare. Still, there's something oddly meditative about a world that asks nothing of you, demands nothing but observation; sometimes after months in deep space, that's enough.
