The third world orbiting Pherkad presents a genuinely perplexing tableau—a terrestrial sphere swaddled in methane clouds so dense they've resisted our sensors for three full scans, yet beneath that opaque veil, our spectrography picks up unmistakable signatures of silicon and iron in abundance. I've charted seventeen systems with similar compositions, but something about the way those methane layers refract the system's starlight gives me the uncomfortable sense we're only seeing what this place *wants* us to see. Worth a closer probe, assuming the logistics office doesn't assign me to catalog another trade-route checkpoint instead.
