Miaplacidus III
TerranNo survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The methane storms that scour Miaplacidus III's upper atmosphere are genuinely spectacular—towering formations that dwarf anything I witnessed near the Kepler Expanse, roiling with a violence that makes you remember why we study from orbit. The frozen nitrogen plains below hold an almost meditative quality, vast and pallid under the system's pale star, and I spent a full watch cycle simply cataloguing the erosion patterns before the sensor team reminded me we had three more systems queued this cycle. If I ever stop being moved by a world like this, I'll know it's time to hand over the captain's chair.
