Miaplacidus I strikes that rare balance between genuinely habitable and utterly unremarkable—a terrestrial world with breathable atmosphere and moderate temperatures, the kind of place that makes station administrators salivate but leaves explorers like me wondering why we bothered filing the survey report. Still, there's something to be said for a planet that doesn't actively try to kill you; I'm tempted to recommend it for a future research outpost, if only to have somewhere halfway civilized to dock between the more interesting systems. The locals—if there are any—will probably bore me senseless, but at least I won't need a hazmat suit.
