Markab IV

Arid
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
Markab IV presents the usual rocky silicate composition—nothing to write home about, though the iron oxide deposits gave the whole thing a rust-red veneer that caught the light rather prettily as we descended. The atmospheric readings are stable, breathable even, which explains why three competing mining consortiums have already staked claims here; I suspect my survey will be filed away in some bureaucrat's database while the real work gets done by people with quarterly earnings targets. Still, there's something oddly peaceful about a world that simply *is*—no mysteries, no dangers, just solid ground and a workable gravity well. Sometimes after months chasing stellar nurseries and impossible physics, that's almost enough.
