The sulfurous hellscape of Marfik I lives up to every grim prediction in the survey databases—a world so thoroughly inhospitable that even the probe telemetry seemed to wilt under its own heat readings. Yet there's something almost admirable about a planet that commits so entirely to being uninhabitable; no false promises of hidden valleys or subsurface oceans here, just naked geology and atmospheric contempt. I've charted worse, but rarely have I felt so thoroughly *unwelcome* by a celestial body. Still, the spectral analysis suggests rich mineral deposits beneath that corrosive skin—a shame no colonial outfit would dare try to crack this particular nut.
