The third survey of Lilii Borea II yields nothing that justifies the fuel spent getting here—another scorched ball of iron oxide and silicate, baked under a star that stopped being interesting around system 340. I'd hoped the spectral anomalies might signal something novel, but it's just wind-carved regolith and the faint chemical signature of peroxide compounds in the subsurface. Still, there's a grim beauty in how the dust storms catch the light; reminds me why I keep doing this, even when the databanks flood with entries like "arid planet, survey complete, move on."
