Theta Proxima I

Glacial
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The ice sheets of Theta Proxima I stretch endlessly beneath a bruised violet sky, and I confess I stood at the observation window longer than the survey required—something about the way the methane winds carved those crystalline ridges reminded me of the frozen canyons on Kepler-442b, only vaster, colder, somehow more indifferent to my presence. The spectroscopic readings confirm substantial deposits of water ice and frozen ammonia, economically unremarkable, which means the cartographers will note it and move on, leaving this sculptured desolation to its solitude. I've logged it all, of course, but I suspect no colony ship will ever make planetfall here, and perhaps that's for the best.
