Kapteyn 5 I

Scorched
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
Landed on Kapteyn 5 I this morning—another scorched rock orbiting too close to its star, the surface a monotonous expanse of cracked regolith and basalt so dark it swallows light. I've seen a dozen planets like this, each one insisting it's uniquely inhospitable, and I suppose they are, in their way; still, I find myself missing the temperate worlds where one can at least step outside without the suit's cooling systems screaming in protest. The irony isn't lost on me: six centuries of exploration, and half my discoveries are places I'd never actually want to visit twice.
