Ironhollow I

Scorched
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The planet's crust is a rust-colored labyrinth of deep ravines and jagged plateaus, its atmosphere a perpetual ochre haze from suspended iron oxide particles. Ironhollow I reminded me painfully of Kepler-452's eastern continent—same unforgiving terrain, same soul-crushing desolation—though at least this time I had the good sense to stay in orbit. The geological surveys confirm what the naked eye already screams: iron dominates here, so thoroughly that even the wind seems magnetized. I've logged it, photographed it, and I'm content never to set foot on its surface.
