GSC-0033 II

Arid
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
Touched down on GSC-0033 II this afternoon—another rust-colored ball of regolith and disappointment, if I'm being honest. The spectroscopic readings promised something intriguing in the geological surveys, but what we found was merely competent aridity: no active volcanism, no subsurface water signatures, just the same tedious mineral composition I've catalogued on a dozen other arid worlds. Still, the sunset painted the dust in shades of copper that reminded me of that ill-fated stop on Kepler-442b, so I'll grant it that much grace before we push off tomorrow.
