Gliese 667 I

Scorched
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The surface of Gliese 667 I is, predictably, an inferno—I've catalogued seven systems with similar stellar proximity, and they all blur together after a while. Still, the way the molten silicate plains catch the light of that bloated red dwarf is almost hypnotic, a reminder that even a world being slowly roasted alive can possess a certain terrible beauty. The spectroscopic readings suggest some interesting trace elements in the crust, but retrieving samples would require heat shielding I haven't bothered to requisition; some discoveries, I've learned, aren't worth the paperwork.
