Gliese 436 I
ScorchedNo survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The surface of Gliese 436 I is an absolute hellscape—all molten rock and roiling atmospheres that would reduce our hull to slag in minutes. I've seen plenty of scorched worlds in my travels, but something about the way this one orbits so impossibly close to its star feels almost violently intimate, like watching a cosmic tragedy play out in real time. Beautiful in the way a wildfire is beautiful, I suppose, though I'll admire it from considerably greater distance.
