Garnet II

Arid
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The crimson deserts of Garnet II stretch endlessly beneath a butterscotch sky—beautiful in the way a perfectly preserved tomb is beautiful. I found myself genuinely moved by the layered geological strata exposed in the canyon walls, each band telling a story of ancient climate shifts, though the lack of any water or atmospheric complexity makes one suspect the story ended rather decisively eons ago. The abundant silicates and iron oxides give the landscape a rust-red uniformity that would bore most surveyers, but there's something haunting about a world so thoroughly, irreversibly desiccated. I've charted it properly, filed my report, and resisted the urge to name a canyon after myself—barely.
