The geological surveys confirm what the orbital scans suggested: a planet caught between states, all ferric oxides and ancient upheaval, beautiful in that austere way that only worlds half-finished by time can be. I've seen younger planets with more apparent chaos; this one has the weight of something deliberately sculpted, though by what hand I couldn't say. Worth a deeper expedition when the crew rotation cycles through—there's something about Fuyue I that doesn't quite add up.
