Delta Major II

Glacial
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The frozen wastes of Delta Major II stretch endlessly beneath a bruised sky—a world so thoroughly locked in ice that even my instruments groaned in protest during descent. What struck me most wasn't the desolation itself (I've walked colder), but the strange geological formations jutting through the glacial sheets: towering spires of what appear to be ancient metamorphic rock, suggesting this world experienced tremendous tectonic violence before settling into its current, mercifully stable slumber. The silence here is absolute in a way that makes you question whether sound itself can survive such cold. I've left markers for the xenogeology team; they'll want to study those spires before the next ice age buries them deeper.
