The surface of Dusthaven I is a testament to what happens when a star refuses to let go—endless rust-colored dunes beneath a sky the color of old brass, with temperatures that would melt lead before breakfast. Still, there's a stark beauty to it—the kind that makes you grateful for a functioning pressure suit and happier still for the memory of green things.
