Dubhe II

Arid
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
Dubhe II presents the sort of atmospheric monotony that makes one question why it was ever charted—a world of relentless rust-colored dust plains beneath a sky the color of old brass, neither hostile enough to be interesting nor hospitable enough to warrant a colony. I've seen its twin a hundred times over in the outer reaches, and yet something about the particular geometry of its canyon systems caught my eye; they suggest water once carved these valleys with intent. Still, no water remains, no resources worth the fuel to extract them, and mercifully no one has yet decided to build a station here—small mercies in an age of relentless expansion.
