Dubhe I

Scorched
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
Dubhe I turned out to be precisely the sort of scorched, unremarkable terrestrial world that makes one question the merit of charting every speck in a system—all rust-colored regolith and a thin, toxic atmosphere that wouldn't sustain anything worth naming. Still, the spectroscopic readings showed traces of native copper and iron oxides in concentrations that suggest some geological activity within the last million years, which at least warranted a full orbital survey before moving on. I've seen a hundred worlds like this one, and I suspect I'll see a hundred more before retirement claims me.
