Copernicus I

Arid
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The Copernicus system finally lived up to its namesake—turns out there's nothing revolutionary about a desiccated rock with trace atmospherics and regolith that'll scour the hull plating if we're not careful on landing. Still, the irony of naming it after a man who fundamentally shifted our view of the cosmos, only to find ourselves staring at yet another lifeless desert, wasn't lost on me; I laughed the whole descent. Won't be filing a second survey request on this one.
