The surface of Celaeno I is a study in extremes—all cracked obsidian plains and thermal vents that would make a stellar forge look quaint by comparison. No atmosphere worth cataloging, no water, no mercy; just a world that the system's primary star has spent eons slowly cremating into submission. I've seen scorched worlds before, but there's something almost meditative about standing in a landscape so utterly, unapologetically hostile. The Celaeno system can keep its jewels elsewhere; I'll remember this one for the sheer poetry of its desolation.
