Cedarhold I presents the sort of verdant, temperate world that makes one forget why they bothered leaving civilization in the first place—lush forests of towering conifers, crystalline freshwater lakes, the works. I've mapped seventeen similar biospheres across the Outer Rim over the past decade, yet something about this one's atmospheric composition and the peculiar bioluminescence of its evening fauna keeps drawing my eye back to my notes. Perhaps I'm simply growing sentimental; perhaps there's a reason the early colonists chose this place before the trade routes shifted elsewhere. I'll recommend a proper biological survey team, though I suspect the real discovery here will be whatever the indigenous species decides to teach us, if we're patient enough to listen.
