Botein II

Arid
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
Touched down on Botein II at last light, and the landscape reminded me painfully of Kepler-442b—all rust-colored dunes and that same suffocating silence that makes you question why you came. The atmospheric readings are stable enough, but there's something profoundly lonely about a world this thoroughly desiccated; I found myself missing the chaotic beauty of the Trappist colonies. Still, the geological surveys suggest untouched strata, and that's worth documenting before the prospectors inevitably arrive to strip it bare.
