Botein I

Scorched
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
Botein I lives up to its billing as a scorched hellscape—a cratered, rust-colored world that circles its star with all the enthusiasm of a prisoner on the last day before parole. I've seen plenty of burnt-out terrestrial planets in my travels, but there's something almost artful about how the solar wind has etched those canyon systems into the equatorial regions; reminded me of the badlands around Kepler Station, except infinitely less habitable and mercifully devoid of colonial paperwork. Safe to say we're not mining this one, but I'd wager a survey drone could harvest some decent spectroscopic data on how extreme stellar radiation reshapes planetary geology over geological timescales.
