Atria I

Scorched
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
Three centuries of charted space, and Atria I still manages to humble me—a terrestrial world wrapped in clouds so thick they've resisted every spectroscopic probe we've thrown at them, transforming the whole planet into a tantalizing cipher. The atmospheric composition reads as nitrogen and oxygen in proportions that make my fingers itch to authorize a descent, but Command's risk protocols are probably right to keep us in orbit; sometimes the greatest discoveries are the ones we observe from a respectful distance. Still, I've logged a formal request for a follow-up expedition with better atmospheric penetration gear—call it scientific hope, or call it stubborn refusal to accept a mystery left unsolved.
