Alioth III presents itself as textbook terrestrial—breathable atmosphere, liquid water, the sort of place that makes colony developers salivate—yet something about the electromagnetic patterns in the ionosphere feels deliberately arranged, almost *composed*. I've crossed six hundred systems without finding another planet with this particular signature, and I'd wager my navigation array that we're looking at something engineered, though by whom and how long ago remains delightfully mysterious.
