Alfirk II

Arid
No survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
Touched down on Alfirk II today—a rust-colored terrestrial world that would've been utterly forgettable if not for the sprawling network of crystalline formations jutting from the equatorial highlands. The local gravity's murder on the knees, but it was worth every step to examine those structures up close; they refract light in patterns I've only glimpsed once before, near the Kepler Expanse, and I still can't determine if they're geological or something far more deliberate. I've collected samples and filed the standard report, though my instinct says this place deserves a second survey—preferably with less wheezing on my part. The crew wants to push onward, as always.
